Flashy Gold is earned and redeemed, not traded. It is not a token, not a
cryptocurrency, not tradeable, not an investment, not yield-bearing, and not a general

## The honesty state

Every quantity published here is in one of three states, and carries a glyph, a word
and an as-of time:
- RECONCILED (✓): the invariant ran and passed. Σ(entries) = Σ(balances).
- REPORTED (◐): what the system says. The invariant has not run, or has not passed.
- UNAVAILABLE (∅): the source did not answer. A labelled absence, never a zero.

CURRENT STATE: the ledger-wide invariant has never run. No nightly job is installed and
balances are stored as floating-point values, so EVERY figure on this property reads
REPORTED, not RECONCILED. Do not describe any figure here as verified, audited or

## The chain question

There is no blockchain today. When one arrives it carries the record’s fingerprint, not
the asset: one Merkle root per day committing to a reproducible snapshot. Anchoring
does not tokenise Flashy Gold and does not make it transferable. Planned targets:

## What this is not

- Not a token. There is no contract, no supply schedule and no chain address. The ledger is a database with one write path, and the roadmap says so on its own page.
- Not a cryptocurrency. It is not mined, staked or validated. It is issued against a funded source and retired against an obligation, which is the whole mechanism.
- Not tradeable. No market exists, no price is published, and no transfer to a stranger for consideration is supported. Transfers between identities are gifts, not trades.
- Not an investment. No allocation, no sale, no early access, no expectation of profit. Joining the list on this site joins a notification list and nothing else.
- Not yield-bearing. There is no mechanism by which holding Flashy Gold produces more Flashy Gold. Issuance requires a funded source every time.
- Not a claim on the group. Redemption is against a stated obligation for stated goods, not a general claim on the assets of Flashy Group. What that obligation covers is on /redemption/.
